This interactive group course is perfect for learners who have a basic understanding and want to improve their English in a friendly, online group setting.
What to Expect
- Final Exam: At the end of the course, you will take a written and verbal exam. A score of 70% is required to progress to the next level.

Chapter 8: Where I Live
Learn to describe rooms and furniture using there is/are and any (e.g., “There’s a CD player”). Practice prepositions like in, on, under, next to and giving directions around your home.
Chapter 9: Happy Birthday!
Talk about years and birthdays using was/were born (e.g., “I was born in 1986”). Begin using the past simple with irregular verbs like went, bought, and took to describe events.
Chapter 10: We Had a Good Time!
Expand your past simple skills with regular and irregular verbs to talk about leisure activities (e.g., “She cooked a meal”). Learn to ask and answer questions in the past tense (e.g., “What did you do?”).
Chapter 11: We Can Do It!
Learn to use can/can’t for abilities, requests, and offers (e.g., “Can you tell me the time?”). Build your vocabulary by pairing verbs and nouns commonly used together.
Chapter 12: Thank You Very Much!
Talk about what you want and would like in restaurants or while shopping (e.g., “I’d like a cup of coffee”). Practice ordering food and drink politely.
Chapter 13: Here and Now
Explore colors and clothes while learning the present continuous (e.g., “He’s wearing a t-shirt”). Compare it with the present simple for routines (e.g., “He has lunch at one”). Practice forming questions and negatives.
Chapter 14: It’s Time to Go!
Use the present continuous for future plans (e.g., “We’re going on a holiday”). Revise question words and review tenses for past, present, and future to talk about travel and sightseeing.
