Hindi Beginner 1
Topics & Vocabulary:
- Greetings and introductions.
- Asking yes/no questions.
- Discussing identity, nationality, and jobs.
- Shopping: how much, what kind.
- Talking about possession: have, want, like.
- Directions: where, position and place.
- Accommodation details.
- Formal vs informal speaking.
- Making requests and giving orders.
- Family and possession terms.
- Numbers.
Grammar:
- Sentence construction and verb to be.
- Possessives: kā, kī, ke.
- Questions: kitnā, kaisā.
- Introduction to gender, number, and plurals.
- Postpositions and the case system (ko constructions).

- Gender and number rules.
- Verb usage: transitive, intransitive, and absolutive.
- Tenses: present, continuous, past (perfective/imperfective), and future.
- Advanced imperatives (let me go, you can go).
- Subjunctive mood and future imperatives.
- Comparatives and emphatic constructions.
- Reinforcement of koī/kuch and ko constructions.
Cultural Content:
- Daily and family life in India.
- Religious practices and seasonal festivals.
- Shopping etiquette and traditions in India.

Terms and Conditions
- Your course fee includes one digital copy of the learning materials. If you’d prefer a hard copy, you can purchase one from our recommended supplier at an extra cost.
- Public group classes are designed for 30 academic hours per CEFR level. If the group grows to 5-7 students, we’ll extend the program by 10 academic hours. If only two students enroll before the course starts, the group will shift to a semi-private format with 20 academic hours.
- Want to switch to a different group or schedule? No problem! Just let us know at least 7 days before the course starts.
- All our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If your teacher falls ill or has an emergency, we’ll arrange a substitute who’s fully briefed on your progress.
- Once you’ve started with your group, switching to another group or schedule isn’t possible.
- Please note that course fees are non-refundable once the group classes have begun.
- We can record group lessons for later viewing, but only if everyone in the class agrees before the course starts.
- At the end of every program, you’ll take a final exam (both written and verbal). To move up to the next CEFR level, you’ll need to score at least 70%.
- After completing your final exam, you’ll receive a progress report, recommendations, and a certification for your hard work!
