Chapter 1: Volver A Empezar (Start Over)
Write a Cover Letter: Create a cover letter as an ideal candidate for a job position.

  • Discuss present habits.
  • Narrate past experiences.
  • Talk about the beginning and duration of an action.
  • Place an action in time.
  • Grammar:

    • The pretérito perfecto (present perfect) and pretérito indefinido (simple past).
    • Periphrastic structures: empezar a + infinitive (start to…), acabar de + infinitive (just finished…), terminar de + infinitive (finish…), volver a + infinitive (do again), dejar de + infinitive (stop doing…), llevar + gerundio (have been…), seguir + gerundio (continue doing…).
    • Desde (since), desde que (since…), desde hace (for…).

Chapter 2: Mañana (Morning)
Imagine the Future: Envision how we will be in a few years.

  • Talk about future actions and situations.
  • Express conditions.
  • Formulate hypotheses about the future.
  • Grammar:

    • Si + presente de indicativo, futuro (If present, then future); depende de + sustantivo (depends on…), depende de si + presente de indicativo (depends if…).
    • The form and some uses of the futuro imperfecto (simple future).
    • Seguramente (surely), seguro que (sure that), supongo que (I suppose that) + futuro (future tense).
    • Temporal markers to talk about the future.

Chapter 3: Prohibido Prohibir (Forbidden to Forbid)
Write an Article on Customs and Social Codes: Discuss the customs and social norms of people from your country.

  • Express prohibition.
  • Express obligation.
  • Express impersonality.
  • Talk about habits.
  • Grammar:

    • Lo normal / lo habitual / lo raro es + infinitivo (The normal/usual/rare thing is to…).
    • Soler + infinitivo (usually do something).
    • Quantifiers: todo el mundo (everyone), la mayoría (de…) (the majority of…), muchos (many), algunos (some).
    • Es obligatorio / está prohibido / está permitido + infinitivo (It is mandatory/prohibited/permitted to…), se prohíbe/n / se permite/n + sustantivo (Something is prohibited/permitted).

Terms and Conditions

  • Your course fee includes one digital copy of the learning materials. If you’d prefer a hard copy, you can purchase one from our recommended supplier at an extra cost.
  • Public group classes are designed for 30 academic hours per CEFR level. If the group grows to 5-7 students, we’ll extend the program by 10 academic hours. If only two students enroll before the course starts, the group will shift to a semi-private format with 20 academic hours.
  • Want to switch to a different group or schedule? No problem! Just let us know at least 7 days before the course starts.
  • All our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If your teacher falls ill or has an emergency, we’ll arrange a substitute who’s fully briefed on your progress.
  • Once you’ve started with your group, switching to another group or schedule isn’t possible.
  • Please note that course fees are non-refundable once the group classes have begun.
  • We can record group lessons for later viewing, but only if everyone in the class agrees before the course starts.
  • At the end of every program, you’ll take a final exam (both written and verbal). To move up to the next CEFR level, you’ll need to score at least 70%.
  • After completing your final exam, you’ll receive a progress report, recommendations, and a certification for your hard work!
