Chapter 4: Va Y Le Dice… (He Goes and Tells Him…)
Write a Movie Synopsis: Summarize the storyline of a movie or book and share anecdotes or jokes.

  • Narrate events in the present tense.
  • Summarize a book or movie plot.
  • Tell anecdotes and jokes.
  • Grammar:

    • Connectors for narration: y entonces (and then), en aquel momento (at that moment), al final (in the end), de repente (suddenly), de pronto (all of a sudden).
    • Porque (because), como (since), aunque (although), sin embargo (however).
    • Form and uses of direct object (DO) and indirect object (IO) pronouns.

Chapter 5: Busque Y Compare (Shop & Compare)

  • Design and Present an Advertising Campaign: Create and present an advertising campaign, providing advice and recommendations.
  • Recommend and give advice.
  • Give instructions.
  • Describe an advertisement.
  • Grammar:

    • Form and uses of the affirmative and negative imperative.
    • Placement of reflexive pronouns and DO/IO pronouns.

Chapter 6: ¡Basta ya! (Enough Already!)

  • Write an Open Letter to Report a Problem: Address a problem and propose actionable solutions in an open letter.
  • Express wishes, complaints, and needs.
  • Propose solutions.
  • Write an open letter denouncing a problem.
  • Grammar:

    • Present subjunctive.
    • Querer/pedir/exigir/necesitar + infinitive (to want/ask/demand/need to…).
    • Querer/pedir/exigir/necesitar que + subjunctive (to want/ask/demand/need someone to…).
    • Proposing solutions: debemos / tenemos que / se debe / deberían / se debería / habría que (we must / one must / they should / it should be…).
    • Cuando + subjunctive, antes de que + subjunctive (when, before something happens).

Terms and Conditions

  • Your course fee includes one digital copy of the learning materials. If you’d prefer a hard copy, you can purchase one from our recommended supplier at an extra cost.
  • Public group classes are designed for 30 academic hours per CEFR level. If the group grows to 5-7 students, we’ll extend the program by 10 academic hours. If only two students enroll before the course starts, the group will shift to a semi-private format with 20 academic hours.
  • Want to switch to a different group or schedule? No problem! Just let us know at least 7 days before the course starts.
  • All our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If your teacher falls ill or has an emergency, we’ll arrange a substitute who’s fully briefed on your progress.
  • Once you’ve started with your group, switching to another group or schedule isn’t possible.
  • Please note that course fees are non-refundable once the group classes have begun.
  • We can record group lessons for later viewing, but only if everyone in the class agrees before the course starts.
  • At the end of every program, you’ll take a final exam (both written and verbal). To move up to the next CEFR level, you’ll need to score at least 70%.
  • After completing your final exam, you’ll receive a progress report, recommendations, and a certification for your hard work!
